First aid at work (FAW)QA Level 3 First Aid at Work (QCF) 18-hour course – valid for 3 years
“Thoroughly enjoyable and informative with an excellent tutor”
D. Simmonds, Teacher, Bitterne Park 6th Form College – FAW
Designed to develop the skills and confidence to be an effective workplace First Aider. Our Qualsafe-accredited programme helps employers comply with the law, as the Health and Safety at Work Act clearly places a duty on employers to select a competent training provider such as ourselves.
First Aid at Work (FAW) is the required qualification for First Aiders in most workplaces. For some small and lower risk workplaces, our shorter, Qualsafe-accredited Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) programme may be sufficient.
Initial 3 day (18 hour) First Aid at Work (FAW) course, valid for 3 years £165 per person, £1485 for a group of 12
On completion of this course successful attendees will be able to provide First Aid in the workplace and will receive a Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work, a nationally recognised certification that is valid for 3 years.

Two day (12 hour) QA Level 3 First Aid at Work Requalification (QCA) £120 per person, £1080 for a group of 12
It is mandatory that your staff are kept up to date once qualified. This course will revisit the bulk of the initial training. Your staff will have a 28 day grace period to attend, after the 3 years expire. If requalification is taken within 3 years and 28 days, they only have to take 2 day course. Outside of this time, the full 3 day initial course will have to be re-taken.
Half day (3 hour) First Aid at Work (FAW) refresher
£50 per person, £450 for a group of 12
It has been found that core skills fade quickly when not used. So it’s recommended but not mandatory that all workplace First Aiders take an annual 3-hour refresher course. This will ensure your staff can continue to be ready to react effectively to an emergency in your workplace.
