QA Level 2 Emergency First Aid at Work (QCF) 6-hour course – valid for 3 yearsFor lower risk workplaces where Risk Assessment indicates that First Aid training just covering ‘EFAW’ is sufficient. Our Qualsafe-accredited programme helps employers comply with the law, as the Health and Safety at Work Act clearly places a duty to select a competent training provider. On completion of this course successful attendees will be able to provide Emergency First Aid in the workplace and will receive a Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work, a nationally recognised certification that is valid for 3 years.
One day (6-hour) Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) course, valid for 3 years

- Role of the First Aider
- Acting safely, promptly and effectively in an emergency
- Cardiac arrest – CPR
- Treating an unconscious casualty (including seizure)
- Wounds and bleeding
- Shock
- Minor injuries
- Choking

- Using available equipment
