Learn life saving skills for your child!

3 hour course In the comfort of your own home!

Want to host a party? Here’s how it works.   A Med-Aware party is a great way for parents and carers to gain essential lifesaving skills. It’s a fun and affordable 3-hour session, offered in the comfort of your own home. You will need to bring together a group of at least five people, provide tea and biscuits and we will provide a friendly, fully qualified instructor. Each of your guests pays £20 for the session and you, as host, get it for free.

To host a Med-Aware party, all you need is: A decent sized sitting room, big enough for everyone to sit down and with some floor space to practice CPR skills etc. and a TV where everyone can see it. We can teach between five and 15 family members, neighbours or friends at a time. Contact us to arrange a time that suits you and your guests. The session lasts 3 hours, we will need to arrive 20 minutes beforehand to set up. Having a babysitter is best, so that your guests can concentrate on learning the skills, but we understand if someone needs to bring little ones along. You’ll need to have a minimum of five paying guests, book for 5 and any extra guests can bring their £20 on the day.

Our qualified instructors have extensive pre-hospital experience on NHS frontline emergency ambulances – If they teach you a skill like paediatric CPR, they will have done it for real! Typically, a Med-Aware party will cover: CPR, choking, anaphylaxis, seizures and major illnesses etc. We can adapt the content to the particular needs and interests of your guests. At the end of the session, you and your guests each receive a certificate of attendance. This is not a qualification-based course, though. The menu at the top will let you navigate to our accredited courses, should you need one.  We look forward to meeting you and your guests!  Contact us
