Paediatric First Aid
QA Level 3 Paediatric First Aid (QCF) 12-hour course – also refresher and requalification courses
Our Paediatric First Aid courses are specially designed to build the skills and confidence to provide effective First Aid for children and babies. Research has shown that in some emergency situations, children do not receive appropriate help, such as resuscitation, because potential rescuers are worried about causing them harm. Our courses help teachers, carers and parents to respond effectively to an injury or medical emergency involving a young patient. They are ideal for schools, nurseries, childminders, children’s activity leaders and also for groups of friends and family.
Two day (12-hour) Paediatric First Aid course

It is mandatory that your staff are kept up to date once qualified. This programme will revisit the complete course content of the initial training.
3 hour Paediatric First Aid refresher
£29 per person, £261 for a group of 12
It has been found that core skills fade quickly when not used. So it’s recommended but not mandatory that all paediatric First Aiders take an annual one day refresher course. This will ensure your staff are up to date with developments in paediatric First Aid and continue to be ready to react effectively to an emergency involving a baby or child.
